Cookies and Browser Storage|CantoMore

Effective from

CantoMore uses cookies and browser storage for sign-in, preferences, drafts and learning features. This page describes their main purposes, retention and controls.

1. Website preferences and drafts

The main website may store preferences such as language in your browser. Enquiry drafts use sessionStorage in the current tab and are cleared when that tab closes or the enquiry is successfully submitted.

2. Games, sign-in and creative tools

No Rush Be Quick uses a player-identification cookie (cm_player_id) lasting one year, with local storage for learner identifiers, settings and progress. Learning activity may be sent to the server for learning records and personal results. Removing identifiers affects links to previous results.

Sign-in and administration use necessary authentication and security cookies. Diaries, photos, discoveries and share-management information may remain in browser storage until removed in the feature or browser. Storage on different subdomains is managed separately.

3. External services and measurement

The websites use hosting and security services, and some pages use performance measurement, fonts, maps, audio or AI services. Where enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views and performance without cookies or local storage for cross-site tracking, according to its provider. These services still receive the network requests needed to operate, as described in the Privacy Policy.

If we introduce non-essential cookies or similar technologies requiring consent, we will offer a choice before use and allow refusal and withdrawal. Continuing to browse or closing a notice is not treated as consent.

4. Managing your settings

Use browser settings to block or delete cookies and stored data for a specific site. Location, microphone and camera access can be changed in site permissions. Save content you need first, as local diaries, photos and progress may not be recoverable. Server records are handled separately; email [email protected] for assistance.
